Darkness surrounds me
On the path, I choose to walk
Feels like I am all alone
No one’s there even to talk
Puddles hurdles take me aback
I kept stumbling in the dark
Come whatever in my way
Will think it’s a walk in a lonely park
‘Can anyone hear me? is anyone there
I screamed and gave a loud shout
The echo of my voice surrounded me
Showing me I am lone, giving me a pout
I hoped someone came along
And said ‘don’t worry I am there.’
Took me closer holding my hand
And showed how much he cares
No matter what I will keep walking
Will rise with every fall
This phase will pass and I will succeed
In breaking the darkness wall
I know there is someone around
Whom I am unable to see
The beam of light will enter soon
And enlighten my thoughts and me
Dark might be the path I chose
But it makes you feel the earth
You learn who really cares for you
Understand and know your worth
