Clouds

I kept staring at the sky,

Seemed like they were moving.

Peeping into glass doors,

Sky scrapers they kept kissing.

They kept floating in the sky,

Sometimes stuck to each other,

At times scattered  like shredded cotton,

As though drifting from further and further.

They keep changing their colours,

To suit the colours around.

And white as ever they appear,

Even when darkness surrounds.

They warn us of the storms and rains,

And slowly the dark clouds fade.

Teaching us to keep floating,

Looking up to brightness ahead.

THE FOOTPATHS WE WALK

IS A PLACE THEY STAY

ON STREETS THEY WORK

AND PLAY AND PRAY

THEIR TOILETS ARE BUSHES

WASHROOMS ARE RIVERS

DIG GARBAGE TO EAT

WHEN HAVE HUNGER SHIVERS

THEY STUDY AT NIGHT

UNDER THE STREET LIGHTS

THEY TO HAVE DREAMS

OF ACHIEVING GREAT HEIGHTS

NO WALL NO BOUNDRY

NO WORRY NO CRY

ABOVE THEIR HEADS
