O' Tongue
I don't have a sweet tongue
It only knows to be right
It might turn bitter at times
Only then it feels light
It knows not to please others
And take all the praise
Nor it knows to keep mum
And believe its a passing phase
It doesn't like to be a slave
It means what it says
It believes in itself and feels
What has to stay, stays
Different tastes has made it strong
Making it harsh at times
In a tug of war it swallows all
It has learnt to find the rhymes
It loses control in despair at times
And shows my feelings a way
Then locks itself in sealed lips
Though nothing more to say
It raises for my rights often,
It speaks what I feel
It likes to show myself a mirror
Helping my heart to heal
O' tongue please, hurt noone
Even if you can't be sweet
You might be right but not always
Do our expectations meet
